Hollywood Legend Jane Russell Flies JetSuite!
“How’d you like to tussell with Russell?” This famous tagline from the film “The Outlaw” in 1943 is one that has clung to Jane Russell throughout her career. More than 6 decades later, Ms. Russell enjoyed the comfort of a JetSuite Phenom 100 private jet as it flew her into Long Beach last Friday, June 18.
The Hollywood legend, best known for her costarring role as Dorothy Shaw in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” traveled from northern California to attend the Queen Mary Arts Olympus Gala on Saturday evening. Russell was discovered by Howard Hughes, an aviator and filmmaker, who cast her in his controversial film “The Outlaw” in 1943. Since then, she went on to have a prosperous career as one of Hollywood’s leading sex symbols in the 1940s and 1950s, costarring with well- known actors such as Marilyn Monroe and Bob Hope.
JetSuite CEO Alex Wilcox presented Ms. Russell with a model Jetsuite aircraft for an early birthday gift. Her 89thbirthday was on Monday, June 21.
JetSuite is now rated ARG/US PLATINUM.
